Life Update

Our summer has been crazy again like normal, we really haven't did anything fun since our last post. Lyle is just super busy working, no jobs have fallen through for him so he is still just working his brains out at the shop, on the ambulance and being Chief. I'm really ready for a change but I don't know where or when it will happen. Sometimes it really gets me down but I just have to have faith that all will work out and I truly believe that it will.
Danika is getting super excited for Kindergarten and I can't wait for her to goes as well, Linkin gets to go to preschool this year with Ms Tamera he also can't stop talking about it! Mackley is getting so big! Can't believe she will be 3 months old next week! I haven't taken her to the dr since june so I have no idea how much she weighs but hopefully I will get around to it for her 4 month check up, she really needs to get vaccinated I just don't like hurting my baby with shots.
Best news of all though is my mom will be home in a 8 days! Can't wait to have her back but I wish Quinn was coming with! I'm so sad to see Monica leave as well it's always nice to have friends to hang out with when lyle's working! Hopefully next time I will have pictures for you!

Our lives have been busy like normal, went camping last weekend up green canyon it was a blast! sorry this picture is blurry, my friend Crystal made this cute hat for Mackley!

Family update: Quinn is slowing getting closer, started walking a little and will be there most likely another year, no good at all.

Grandma J pasted away almost 2 wks ago, sad to see her go but glad she is with grandpa.

Lindsay is currently at U of U hospital because the baby has Poly Cystic Kidney disease and she fell today so they took her there as a pre caution hopefully she will make it to 36 wks then they will do a C section because of the placenta previa, poor girl keep her and baby mason in your prayers!

Everything went really well, I was so nervous about getting started! I know lots of people have it done and I have heard so many pros and cons that I just didn't know what to think but I thought that it wasn't bad at all.

I arrived at the hospital at 5:15 on monday morning where they got me checked in. I was dilated to a 2 and 70 percent effaced. She started me on pitocin at around 6 and got the antibotic in me as well. They told me I had to wait 2 to 3 hrs for them to break my water so that the baby wouldn't get the Group B Strep which I carry. So at 9:30 my dr came in to break my water. I was at 3 cm and the baby was at a stage -1 position. I was feeling really good, the contractions were super light and so I decided to not get an epidural unless I really needed it. The doctor told me that my cervix felt kinda hard for someone who has had children before and so it was gonna take a while for it to soften. This scared me into thinking about an epidural but I just kept it as an option in the back of my head. My nurse told me I could get fetinol if the pain got to bad and I needed something to take the edge off for an hr or so but only if I wasn't to a 7 yet and I had atleast an hr before I was to deliver. I told her I would keep that in mind but I was truly feeling great. At about 11:30 she checked me again I was at a 4 and about 90 percent effaced with the baby at stage 0.

Still feeling really good I decided to keep going without, at noon she decided to put a pressure gauge around the babys head to monitor how hard my contractions were. It was a little painful mainly because she couldn't get it in and so it took a couple really good contractions until she was done I was still at a 4 but complete effaced and baby was at a +1 station. After they put the gauge on the contractions got super painful, I asked for some fetinol to take the edge off. She went to go grab me some, I couldn't believe how fast they begun to really hurt. I told lyle that i really thought i needed to get the epidural because I hurt so bad. When she came back with the medicine I had a feeling to ask her to check me before she gave it to me. She acted a little annoyed but she did it anyways. From the look on her face I thought I hadn't progressed at all but she was like you are ready to push! I was so glad it was close to the end and I was doing it! So they got the dr in there and she was born quickly after. Super easy to deliver since she was already crowning by the time the dr got there. I couldn't believe that in less than 30 minutes I went from a 4 to a 10! It was crazy, i'm so glad that I made it without the epidural it was intense towards the end but overall I really enjoyed it! I will no longer complain about people getting started, I find it almost a blessing that I did because I would of stayed home to long I'm sure and then this baby would probably been delivered at the door or right after we got there, which I feel is almost more traumatic then getting started.

So glad that everything went so well and that my delivery was quite quick for the most part!

Down to 3 weeks can't believe it! I had pictures of easter to post and just didn't get to them sorry! It wasn't anything spectular this year I'm getting to be really cheap and conservative but I don't think kids need toys for easter so they got a new outfit and some candy! It was simple but the kids loved it!

Well we will keep you posted on the baby when it gets here! So excited to see her!

This was taken yesterday before his surgery! I love this kid!!

This is the Powless Guest House where we stayed, it's a army hotel. Really nice rooms, they take such good care of you there!

This building is my favorite, it's the Center for the Intrepid. This is where quinn will probably go to get his physical therapy. The building looks so cool!

This is the hospital where he is staying, It's huge and they are adding more rooms to it! The hospital is specialized in Orthopedics, that's why they sent Quinn there.

Angie my sister in law sent this to Quinn while we were there! I love it!

Isn't he so good looking? I just love him so much! He won't smile with his teeth showing, i wonder if it's because his tooth is chipped although you can't tell that much!

We took one afternoon and went to the Alamo, it was so cool! The architecture was amazing.

This is the Wounded Warrior and Family Support Center! This place is awesome, they do so much for the familes and warriors that are there. They are constantly giving free food away and bottled water! Which was well needed in the heat!

The Riverwalk, it was so gorgeous! This was my favorite thing to see, site seeing wise that is! I just loved being with Quinn. It was hard to come home and leave him there. I'm so thankful my mom and dad are there to watch over and take care of him. I miss him already! Hoping that the next couple of months go by quickly.

He had surgery yesterday on his right heel. It was the worst one, and it was as bad as they thought. They were able to fix it but he has been in alot of pain since then. He was up most of the night in pain, it makes me cry to think of him in pain. Please continue to pray for him!!

I get to go to Texas and see Quinn! So stinking excited, leaving Monday morning staying until friday, i can't wait!!! My awesome family let me go before the rest since I can only fly for a few more weeks! I will try to keep you posted on how he's doing while I am there.

He had surgery yesterday, it went well. They got the pins and screws in his left heel. They put a bone graft in his arm by his elbow and put a plate in his elbow. So it was alot of work, mom says he's really tired but doing ok!

He sounds really good! Dad says he's having restlest Leg syndrome, which stinks for a man that can't move his legs very well. He's having surgery on Thursday for his elbow, arm and left heel. They think is back will heal just fine without another surgery, he has to wear a brace for 12 wks which they say is very uncomfortable but I think it's better than him having another surgery. He has his cell phone so you can text him now! I'm sure he would love to hear from others. I hear he is super bored, so if you have any good ideas on how to entertain him let us know! I guess the t.v. in his room is like 10 inches and they don't have cable or anything so pretty much he has nothing to do! Which if you know Quinn he doesn't sit still very easily, I'm sure he is going crazy!

My parents are now in San Antonio, Texas with Quinn. My brother brandon went with and Heidi will be going later this week. I got to talk to him today, he sounded really good. I could tell he was a little tired but other than that I thought he sounded awesome. My mom informed me that he doesn't have broken legs, which is nice to know just that his heels are shattered. Even though he has a long road a head of him I feel comforted that he will be alright!

So thankful for the gospel during this time in my life. I don't think I would have survived without it! I will try to update more later about when he will be having surgeries so we can pray for him and how he is doing! So thankful for you love and concern through all this! Love you guys tons!

Quinn's in America!

My parents just heard from Quinn he's at the Walter Reed Medical Center but all they are doing is refueling the plane and then he will be off to San Antonio, Texas. They figure he should be there tonight! Hopefully my parents will be flying out soon to be with him! I'm so excited, the relief of knowing he's so close is such a great feeling!

They said he sounded so good! I'm so thankful it's because of heavenly father that we have been so blessed through this whole experience! We have witnessed so many miracles since we heard on Sunday! Thanks for all your prayers! Keep them up!

Quinn is officially on his way back to the US right now. I have heard 2 sides of the story from the military and I'm thinking that he will be stopping at Walter Reed and then transferred to Texas! A little closer to home, keep you posted when we know more. The military will know longer be contacting us, Quinn will be so hopefully we will hear from him by tonight or tomorrow!

Injury update

Hello-
My parents finally got to talk to a nurse today about his injuries, here is what we were told.

He has a fractured Lumbar in his back it's on the T8
He has fractured his right elbow and his right ulna bone.
He has fractured both heels and both legs.

They say he has no internal injuries and that he is eating well.

He is scheduled to fly out of Germany tomorrow but that isn't a 100 percent it depends on how he is doing. They told us it could take up to 3 days to hear from Quinn once he has left Germany and he will be the one to contact us when he gets to Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, D.C.

Quinn has a long road of recovery ahead of him so please continue to pray for him! We were able to say hi to him today, he's ok! They are trying to keep him as comfortable as possible, he has a pain pump to so he can control howmuch meds to get!! Thanks for all your concern and prayers!

He's made it safe to germany, will be having surgery tomorrow on his elbow and his heels!
My parents got to talk to him, he sounded really tired but he's doing ok. Hoping to hear from the dr today sometime! So thankful that he's one step closer to us!

Quinn is officially on the plane right now to Germany, where he will be looked at and we will finally get a call from an official dr that will be able to tell him us the extent of how bad his injuries are. Hopefully we will be able to have more information by around noon tomorrow! I will keep u posted!

Thanks all of you for the prayers and love and concern that you have given to us! We love you all and know that our prayers are being answered!

P.S. KSL interviewed my parents today so they should be on the new either tonight or tomorrow morning! Purple Heart

Quinn was given his Purple Heart today, such an amazing hero!

Waiting for parts to arrive there so he can have his back surgery done. Then he's off to Germany for hopefully only 2 weeks then he will come to Walter Reed in Maryland for rehab.

Fears

We all have things that we fear mine just happened to come true today.

It was around 3 oclock this afternoon when my phone rang. I ran to grab it, it was my mother. I could already tell that something was wrong, my mind immediately thought of either my dad or my grandpa who is not doing well. Little did I know it was the worst possible thing, Quinn has been injured in Afganistan. We were only told that he was in serious condition and that we would hear more later.

I immediatly hoped in my car and drove to my parents home, there we all sat and cried, praying that he would be alright. The unknown is so hard and time past by so slowly. We decided to have a family prayer, my mother gave it, it was such a great prayer about our concerns and how much we were desperate to know more of how he was.

The phone rang, we ended the prayer and answered it. It was Quinn, I still can't believe it, but I'm so thankful that they let him call us. He told us that he has shattered both of his heels, he has broken his arm and that his back has also been broken. He can wiggle his toes which is a good sign but he has many operations to come! He is currently in Aghanistan at a hospital in the ICU, they told us he is stable and sleeping. They think he will have surgery tomorrow but we don't know on what. We know his back has to have surgery before they will transport him to Germany. There were 2 other men in the vehicle with him when they hit an IED. He is the driver and the impact of the bomb throw him into the back of the vehicle. The hardest part about this is knowing he is so far away, that I can't just jump in the car and be able to sit by his bed while he recovers. I'm so thankful he is still alive but the pain of what he has to go through breaks my heart.

We will be lucky enough to get updates twice a day, I will keep everyone on here posted. I only ask that you continue to pray for his recovery, pray for his heels to be able to be put back together so he can walk again. Pray for his back to heal so he will be able to work and function. Pray for him to recover mentally and physical. It's gonna be a long road a head for him and for all of us.

The best part was to hear his voice, although he was heavily medicated he told us he was fine. That he was going to be ok! I'm so thankful for the communication and technology that we have in these days so we can hear from him clear in the middle east!

Sorry to continue to blab on and on but this is a way for me to express my feelings!

I can't wait to have another little baby in my home, time seems to be going by so quickly and I can't wait to see her! Glad that I'm so blessed to have another one on the way!

We had such a wonderful Christmas this year. We did Christmas Eve at my mom's like usual. This is our Pinata that we do every year, the kids love it. We made it through all the grandkids with the stick breaking on Dawson and then Davis! It was really funny!

We had the kids make a sign for my brother, Quinn in Afganistan! We really missed him this Christmas!

Danika was an angel for the Nativity. It was her turn to be Mary but they forgot that she is older than Ellie, so she will be it next year!

Linkin was a donkey although he didn't actually participate much in the Nativity!

I didn't get any pictures of me and lyle again like usual! Lyle and me bought a new tv for our bedroom, but he also spoiled me with Snowpants, Gloves and Boots! Now I can't have the excuse anymore of staying inside when they go out to play!

We had the annual breakfast on Christmas Day with Derk, Sara and Portia! It was so yummy, i think I drank to much fresh squeezed Orange Juice!

After breakfast Lyle had to go to work until 10 so I went over to my aunt Pam's house! It was awesome I got to see one of my favorite cousins Kim and play lots of games which I love also!!

Preschool Program

The kids got new church clothes which were definately needed!

We bought both the kids christmas trees for there rooms and danika insisted on getting a picture with hers.

Last Night was her Christmas program for Preschool. It's so cute watching all the kids singing!! Seems weird to think we will be watching Linkin next year instead of Danika!

Quinn left yesterday for Aghanistan. It was a gloomy day and the emotions have defineatly kicked in, I think this is gonna be one of the hardest years I have faced, and I will pray daily for him to return to us safely!

Linkin turned 3 yesterday! we had a great day, got pictures taken by my friend, Meghann. Then went to Chic-fil-a for lunch and let the kids play in there little play center, then we came home and had a birthday party for stinker! If you don't know Linkin very well he is obsessed with Hot Dogs!! He not only loves to eat them but he randomly talks about them or will be singing a song and in the middle scream HOT DOG!! So we thought it only appropriate to have a Hot dog cake so here it is!

We used Twinkies as the hot dog and a cake baked in a bed pan as the bun! Then we bought the coconut pecan frosting and made it into relish! We had so much fun making it!!

He got super spoiled with all his new toys!

Baby Number 3

Well it's official we are having our 3rd baby! A little nervous but super excited!! Went to our first appt. a week ago and everything looks great!!

Danika want's a sister and linkin doesn't care!!! I secretly want another girl as well but will be excited with whatever!! Can't wait to start feeling better, I've been so much sicker this time!! Just glad it's not twins though!!! I would put the ultrasound pictures on here but have no clue how!!!

Lyle and I both got new callings on sunday!!!
Lyle is the Secretary in the Young Mens, we are so excited for him to be done with Scouts, but also glad that he still gets to participate with the Young Men, he really enjoys them!

I just got put in as the Beehive Advisor for the Young Womens! I'm so excited, as you know this is my favorite place to be with the Young Women!! I know it's gonna be a ton of work but I think I can handle it!!!

Summer 2010!!!

Well I thought I would finally post some of our adventures this summer! We went the end of June to Idaho Falls, where my best friend lives! Her parents own a ranch up in Ririe that they let us stay at! It was so much fun!! And beautiful of course!! The kids got a night with us and a night without us! Kristi was nice enough to keep the kids for a night so we could have some time alone!! Which was greatly needed!!

We ate at a Pizza place with her mom and dad! It was so yummy!!

Linkin loves to hold on to our legs which of course drives us crazy!

The cabin was so nice!! We loved it!

We stopped in Alpine on the way home and let the kids play at the park! We had a lovely little picnic while we were stopped! It was such a nice break from our crazy lives! or should I say Lyle's crazy life!

We went to Bear Lake a couple of times already this year! We love it there! The kids just have so much fun!

Linkins swim suit is a little big, suprise suprise! one year he will grow i just know it!

This is Linkin with Gage, They just moved to Seattle! I already miss this family like crazy!! We enjoyed each other so much, she was a single mom with 4 kids and so me feeling like i am a single mom most of the time enojoyed having her around to hang out!!

So far we have had a really good summer, we get to go to Island Park in August with my mom and dad! That should be alot of fun!!

Lyle is staying super busy with work at the shop, riding on the ambulance a couple nights a week, being fire chief here in richmond and being the asst. scout master as well!! We are so blessed to have him with not only one job but 4!! Sometimes it gets really hard but we are getting use to it more as the time goes by!!

Danika will get to go to preschool 3 days a week this fall, I can't hardly wait!! She will love it as much as i will, now if only I could find a place for Linkin! Oh well one on one time right!!!

Linkin has learned to talk so much the past couple of months, he's learned the word "Why" So we get to answer a lot of questions from him but we are enjoying him so much!!

As for me, I'm learning to be patient and trying to rely more on myself now with lyle being gone, I have finally gotten use to sleeping alone without him at nights and not making Danika sleep with me because I am scared!!! I'm trying to stay positive even though it gets tough! Hope all are doing well!!!

Baby Animal Days!

We went to Baby Animal Days with my brother Quinn's wife Amber and the kids! It was so much fun!

I think Danika only touched one animal the whole time!

Linkin loved to pet the animals but if they came walking towards him he would freak out!

We got to ride on the train! CHOO CHOO!

Easter Weekend

I know the pictures are side ways but atleast you can see what they got for easter, Danika got a Leapster 2 with a game, Linkin got a doodle drawing and Monsters vs. Aliens! Plus lots of treats!

It was so cute Linkin saw the eggs scattered all along the floor and went crazy! We had to wake Danika up before we would let him get any and he was going insane waiting for her to get out of bed!

Every year my family does a get together and we color easter eggs, have dinner and do an easter egg hunt. The kids love it and I espessially do because i don't have to make my house messy coloring eggs!

Danika fell down our friend's 12 wooden stairs! It was really scary, at first we thought she might have broken her nose but luckily all that happened was she had a huge goose egg on her head, but it went away quickly!

Hawaii 2010!

As you all know Lyle one a free trip and we took the opportunity to go to Maui and Oahu!

We left on Thursday, January 21st!

Lyle got to go golfing at the Kapalua plantation golf course in maui. This course was just played 3 weeks before by the PGA golf pros. Lyle felt so lucky to get a chance to play here. Plus it had gorgeous views!

Linkin had a birthday last friday, I can't believe how old he is getting! Here are some pictures of his party, we had a good turn out from friends and family!

I can't believe it still!
On Monday, lyle got a phone call from a parts company that they go through and order alot of their parts for vehicles. They do a scratch and win drawing every summer. The cards that you don't win anything on you fill out your information and turn them back in to win more grand prizes, like big screen t.v.'s, camera's, things like that. Well my husband won the GRAND PRIZE!! Which is a vacation anywhere, we have a $5000 spending limit, it was set up as a cruise but we don't have to go on one.

I would really love to go to Paris, but Lyle is in need of a vacation sooner not later in the year, so we are gonna go some place tropical! Just haven't quite figured out where yet! I would love peoples opinions! I really can't believe it! We just need our luck to keep continuing! I would really like a job on the logan city fire department next!!

Lyle got a letter today from Logan City, he ranks alot lower down on the list than we thought he would, which totally sucks!
We most likely won't get one of the 2 positions available but he is on a list that will last atleast a year. Who know's what will happen! Hopefully the list will be good for 2 years so that we have a better chance, but if not I guess he'll just reapply in a year or two. Thanks for all the prayers and support you have all given us!

Now we wait!!!

Lyle has taken all of the testing for Logan now and we just have to wait. He has to ranked 10 or below on the hiring list to even get considered for the 2 job openings. I'm so nervous, we really need this I just pray that he does good, he feels really comfortable with how he did on the written so that will help. All that I can say is please pray for a good score and so we can have a chance at the interview!
We were told it could take up to 3 weeks for the results to come, that's just way to long!

Danika had her birthday yesterday and turned 4. We had a little birthday party for her today, it was a costume party, her decision. I thought it was quite a good idea to come up with by her. She is so smart, i'm so thankful for her in my life.

We also opened some gifts at grandma's house yesterday!

This week is the start of Lyle's long processing trying to get a job with the fire station. So he gets to take the Physical test this friday, which i feel pretty good about because he practiced again on saturday and came in at 3 minutes 48 seconds and you have to get under 5 minutes and 4 seconds, so that's a good thing, but then next week he gets to do the written test, wish him luck! We could really use the change, so think of us in your prayers! Thanks for all you do!

Salt Lake Trip

We did the connect pass with Salt Lake which I totally recommend and we got to go to so many places, we went to the dinosaur museum at Thanksgiving Point.

Then we went to the Thanksgiving Point Gardens with the kids, it was quick but we enjoyed it.

We went camping this past weekend, it was much fun, we went up Temple Fork. Although it was a little interesting. You see me and my sister Heidi decided to drive up together on Thursday night and we ended up going to grab a coke and Island Market and I didn't notice that a car was pulling into the alley behind the Market and I hit them. Luckily their wasn't much damage so we just decided to fix our own and call it good. Thank goodness.

We went to Bear Lake last wednesday with a couple of friends, Linkin got Car Sick and threw up twice on the way, which was no fun at all, but he had a blast once we got to the lake.

We had a long bus ride so i thought we would take pictures of us sitting in the bus!!

We went to Independence Rock the first day and loved it! We climbed all over the rock, it was so much fun!

We started out the day at the Lewiston Parade it was so much fun!! Danika loved to get candy, Linkin just wanted one and he was good!

Afterwards our friend, Amber took my kids to the Hyrum parade and to The Zoo so that me and Lyle could go celebrate our Anniversary. It worked out nice for us and the kids had a blast. We picked them up at Willow Park.

Hyrum Dam

Yeah Water!!!
My family goes to Hyrum Dam every year for the Earl Family Reunion! We have so much fun! I just love it! The kids get to ride their bikes and play in the water. My sister Heidi and her husband bring their boat, which the kids love. We had such a good time! I'm so glad we get to do this every year!

Well for some reason we can't post pictures on the blog it's just not working! I'm really frustrated and don't know what to do. So for now i guess i'm going to just have to type stuff!!

Well this past week we have been trying to teach Danika how to properly ask for things. She thinks that she should say" I can have a sucker please?" ( for example) So I tried to tell her you need to say Can I have a sucker please? ANyways so we did this for quite awhile yesterday. She kept saying it wrong which drives me crazy and makes her equally upset! So finally she looks and me and lyle and says" I can't say it my mouth is Broken" I was so funny! We could help but laugh. Hopefully she'll learn sooner or later how to talk right!

Every Year on the Saturday before easter Richmond's Lion's Club does an easter egg hunt for the kids, this of course was Linkin's first year but he loved it!

Danika was pretty excited too!

Yes, as you can tell Linkin got quite a few eggs, I couldn't believe how quickly he caught on to grabbing them and running to the next one!

of course he had to steal all of danika's as well! She was not happy about that!

My mom had a barbeque at her house saturday night and we had to have the easter egg hunt in the basement because it was pouring rain outside! The kids still had fun! Who cares where the eggs are at they just want the candy anyways!

This was Danika in her new Easter Dress all ready for Church! I love the bows, my sister in law Lindsay made them for her dress!

Baby Animal Days

Lyle, Quinn, and I took the kids to baby animal days on saturday it was so much fun! Beware, tons of pictures!

Linkin wasn't so sure he really liked any of the animals.

Danika got so excited when she saw the ponies. I'm so glad they let them ride um once for free! She loved it and wanted to go again but I told her she only got one shot this time.

Yesterday, Lyle went and spent the night in Hyrum for the Cache County Ambulance. Then this morning he got his first shift from 7 am to noon. He was really nervous but did great! One of the other guys on call let him do an I.V. on him and he did really good and made it in his first time! Then they got a call at midnight and he got to do an I.V. on a real patient and also made it in on his first try! He was so proud of himself! I'm also very proud of him! He gets another shift next Saturday which makes me happy! Hopefully will be getting our bathroom done in the basement this summer! All this money gets to go for home improvements!

Linkin Updates!

So we talked to the nurse at the doctors office today and since the sweat chloride test has failed time and time again they really want us to talk to a geneticist, with a formal term for a genetic specialist. Luckily their is one that travels to logan every so often and so his next available appointment is on April 24th, they said it would take about 2 hours to go through everything and then they would go from their! So i guess we don't have to go back to Salt Lake which i'm so thankful for! I'll definately let everyone know what he has to say and all that goes on next with our little man! We are just so blessed to have such great kids, even though Linkin is small he is such a sweet baby and has so much love to give us that we couldn't ask for anything more!

Salt Lake Trip!

We had to run Linkin to get some tests done at Primary Childrens Hospital yesterday, so we decided to make a fun day out of it and road the Frontrunner down their. We loved it! Danika kept saying how she wanted to come on it again next week!

Linkin liked it for the most part, he just would get mad because he wanted to run around and couldn't. He wanted to go up and down the stairs.

Our friend Brennan came along with us, he was really good at entertaining the kids and we were so excited because we got to meet Kristi in SLC.

We went to the Gateway and walked around for a while, this is on the water fountain.

This is in the waiting room of the lab at Primary Childrens! We were only in that room for probably a total of 3 hours, it was so long. Your probably wondering why we were their so i'll inform you.

Linkin is small for his age and so our pediatrician ran some tests on him and when they did the sweat chloride test for Cystic Fybrosis in logan it wouldn't work. So they did a blood tests which came back positive for Linkin being atleast a carrier of CF. So they wanted to send us down to Primary's and have the test done their. Which was a waste because it didn't work twice down their. So we have to talk to the pediatrician and see if she wants us to go back their or not. Hopefully, they won't but who knows.

Well the results are in and danika has strep throat, i was a little suprised because we've never had it in our family before but i guess theirs always a first! She is feeling so much better after only one dose of antibotics but as of friday she won't be contagious anymore!! Yeah, only one more day of staying home!

Sick Kids!

So Linkin has had a cold for several weeks now which isn't really a big deal, he still is happy and sleeps good just coughs here and their...... but danika is a complete different story!

On friday, Lyle had scout camp so i was planning on going to my friends house and danika came down with a fever. It lasted all day saturday and part of sunday. So then on monday she got the runny nose and yesterday she woke up with a rash all over her face, i called the doctor and they said a rash would be normal around the nose but this is on her chin and on her cheeks too. Then i decided to check her tonsils becuase they are abnormally large and i noticed she had white funny looking spots on her tongue, so i asked the doctor and they told me just to bring her in to get looked at. Hopefully they will know what it is and get medicine in her so she's not so whiny and doesn't continue to drive me crazy! Very weird though i can't wait to here what the doctor has to say about it! So i'll keep you posted on how it goes!

Danika was a little worried about Captain
Hook at first but then she was ok after awhile, we had to convince her that he wasn't really mean!Danika loved wendy but not as much as Peter Pan!Danika would get so excited everytime she saw her or should i say him! She was a little confused why a girl was playing the part of peter pan who she kept reminding us that he is a boy!You can't tell very well but theirs the dog, nana it was so neat to actually have a real person play the dog. So yes, Sky View high school you did an excellent job!

I can't believe how long it's been since I posted pictures! Well good news were getting the internet in our home on wednesday! It was suppose to come last thursday and never showed up so we found somebody else to go through! I can't wait so i'll started posting alot more! Danika got a new name in sunbeams yesterday, quite a funny story.
So, in class they were talking about how we use to live up in heaven with heavenly father and jesus before we came to earth. Well danika turned to her teacher and said " no, i didn't" So the teacher tried again to explain to her that yes she did live up in heaven with jesus, well she again said" no, i didn't, i have only lived in my house and no where else" So they just gave up and said that she is quite the debater.

Needless to say this isn't the end of the story, she later told the class that she has a teddy bear and it talks to her, so the teacher said that's very nice danika that you have a teddy bear and danika goes yeah it tells me i'm stupid! The teacher said no I bet it tells you it loves you. Danika was like nope, it tells me i'm stupid. So yes, not only is the teddy bear in time out alot, danika no believes that she has never lived in heaven!

What a silly girl! I don't know where she comes from when she makes up silly things like that!

I signed Danika up for a new dance class, it's at the Smithfield Rec Center! Yesterday was her 1st time going! I can't believe she's old enough to take dance, but she really enjoyed it and can't wait until next week!This is Danika with her friend Lauren who is also in her class!

Macy also another friend! They are gonna be so much fun to watch! I can't wait until their dance review!

I just wanted to wish you all a merry christmas! A little late, sorry! I've been wanting to put picture's on but i got a new camera and we don't quit no how to do it! I'll learn more and post them later!

So I really don't have anything exciting to say but that I can't wait for Christmas! I just love this time of year espessially giving presents to others and seeing the expression on their face when you give it to them! Danika will be so much fun this year. We had a christmas party on Saturday, well two actually but Santa came to the 1st one and she was so cute she walked right up sat on his lap and told him she wanted gloves and a movie for christmas. So lets recap-
1st santa visit this year- she asked for a puppy
2nd she wrote a letter to santa and asked for a house puppy.
3rd she asked santa for a house.
4th time she said gloves and a movie.
Wow! She just keeps going! I hope she gets everything that she wants, will have to wait and see! Merry Christmas everyone!

Our poor boy with his nightgown on! Lyle wasn't not excited about that, he said quote" this will be the only time you'll see our son in a dress." I thought is was kind of funny! Everything went great though!

I was so sad when they took him away! It was very hard but then he was back so quickly and everything was fine! His ears had a lot of fluid which should drain in the next couple of days! I'm so glad that their done and over with thought! Alot of bad sleep dreaming about them putting them in, so all ends well!

So yes, December 10th, 2008 Linkin Bair recieved tubes in his ears! Yeah!

Santa!

Danika got to see santa this weekend! I was so proud of her! She stood in line all by herself and climbed up on his knee and told him that she wanted a house puppy for christmas!! Kind of an interesting choice but will just have to wait and see if santa brings it to her!
