Our Thursdays!

My friend Jenn and I decided that we need to start getting together and letting the girls play, they have a story hour up in preston on thursdays so we come up and go to that then do lunch and play. Jenn babysits the cutest little girl, Meadow, her neice. Danika and her just love each other. Well for 2 weeks in a row we've been playing to go to the park and have a picnic! This week we made it to the park but then this happened! It started to rain and the wind starting blowing really bad! So we had to run to the cars.

So, the kids had fun at Jenn's house instead, hopefully next week will be better!

The Garden

Finally, the garden has been planted. It has been such bad weather that we haven't had time to get it in! So on Wednesday we finally got almost everything planted, besides tomato's and green peppers and a couple of squash which I have planted in cups but just not transported them yet. Hopefully, we will see lots of benefits from the garden this year, but who knows what it'll be like with all this crappy weather!

No Pictures!

I've been terrible lately about taking my camera with me so i haven't put any pictures on, but i wanted to tell you how wonderful my weekend was. I got to go to my grandpa j's grave on sunday and think about how much i truly miss him! Love you Grandpa! Monday, brought a whole new shed of tears as we went to my neice, Alexys's grave and Lyle got to see her headstone for the 1st time! I miss her so much that I just cried and cried at her grave! She was my favorite neice on Lyle's side, I've never gotten along with someone as well as I got along with her! Christmas parties aren't the same without her! Anyways, back to my weekend then we went to Kage's grave, for all of you who don't know who that is, it's our best friends Derk and Sara's baby that would be the same age as Danika! We got the cutest little tractor to put by his headstone! We figured he would probable love playing with those right now at this age! Just wanted to tell everyone how glad I am to have them in my life and to let you know how much I love Memorial Day!

Hair cuts

I took Danika to get her 1st hair cut! She did such a good job and i was so proud of her but i was mad because i forgot my camera! Dang it! When we got to my mom's she took pictures of both our new dues! But, I haven't gotten them from her yet so just to let you know their coming as soon as i can get them!

" My Cowboys"

I opened Danika's door last night after she woke up from her nap and she had one of her snow boots on and wanted me to help her put the other snow boot on. So I thought it can't hurt for her to wear them for a while so we put the other one on and she looked at me and said " Mom, these are my cowboys." I laughed so hard! It was so cute, but we did tell her that they weren't actually cowboy boots but they were snow boots!

Silly Danika!

Danika was being so funny yesterday. Every time I turned around she was doing something else crazy, so I had to take a couple of pictures to justify her sillyness. First, She came into my room naked and wanted to wear her lion costume. When we got it on she turned to me and said," Mom it's Halloween." I just laughed and told it wasn't but that it would be eventually.

Then, Later on she came into the kitchen wearing my huge heeled flip flops, I couldn't believe that she could actually walk in them but she did. She was walking all over the house in them and even went outside. I don't know about this girl and her obsession with shoes.

Stars!

Last Friday we went to the church for our annual Girls Night Out! We made these really cute stars! It was so much fun and I loved how good they turned out! I've mentioned them to a couple of people so I thought I would post them so you could see what they looked like! They were super easy and so fun to do.

Happy Mother's Day!

I wanted to wish everyone one a Happy Mother's Day! I hope it was fantastic! Mine was really good, I got to sleep in until 8 oclock which was nice. The only problem was that I had to do the scripture and prayer in Relief Society and was were pushing it to make it their on time at 9 oclock but, we did it. Then Danika took a 3 and 1/2 hour nap and Linkin slept for almost 2 hours. So I fell asleep during the Jazz game! I know your wondering how I did that but i was really tired! Linkin has a ear infection and hasn't been sleep really well at nights so i've been getting up alot in the night with him. Anyways, another great thing about today is that the Jazz actually pulled it off and won!! YEAH!! That was exciting! Anyways, Happy Mother's Day again! Love you all tons!

Pinching Your Pennies!

I did it. I got the Herald Journal ordered and i'm recieving 5 sunday papers to cut coupons out of! Heidi and Lindsay are educating me on this coupon saving business! Hopefully it works and I save lots of money!
